About this project

TruePath Financial is a benefits and insurance brokerage based in Washington. They manage group health, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits for employer groups, handling everything from quoting and census submission to commission reconciliation. Drowning in fragmented workflows across multiple platforms, they were facing missed renewals, data entry errors, and massive context switching.

The Challenge

TruePath's team was spending more time managing tools than managing clients. They struggled with a census data nightmare where they manually re-entered employee details into carrier-specific spreadsheets. Commission statements arrived in inconsistent formats and required manual lookups. Juggling DocuSign licenses and email chains created document signing friction, while client communications were split across Outlook, Twilio, and phone calls.

The Solution

We engineered TruePath Business OS, a unified operating system built around their exact brokerage workflows. It features a smart census auto-parser, AI-powered commission reconciliation with anomaly detection, a built-in document signing portal, a carrier submission pipeline, and a centralized communications inbox synced with GoHighLevel.

eNav Census Import

Drag-and-drop census engine that auto-parses eNav and Master Quoting XLSX files and auto-transforms them into carrier layouts.

AI Commission Reconciliation

Statement importer that auto-detects fields, auto-matches commissions to client groups, and flags anomalies.

E-Signature Portal

Pre-fills client data from profiles and captures legally binding signatures via drawn, typed, or click-to-sign methods.

Unified Communications Inbox

Consolidates email and SMS history into a single client timeline with SLA urgency indicators.

AI Intelligence

The platform utilizes an intelligent census parsing engine with 96.4% parse accuracy on eNav exports, and a commission auto-matching engine that reconciles 85%+ of monthly payments to specific client policies.

System Architecture

Next.js 14 frontend utilizing client-side Zustand state management, integrated with a PostgreSQL database and secure storage via Supabase.

Database & Caching

PostgreSQL transactional database with Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) policies and client-side indexing for fast global searches.

Messaging

Centralized GoHighLevel integration for unified SMS/email routing with automated task reminders and renewal tracking alerts.
