About this project

BlackStag Excavation is a Spokane-based industry leader in site preparation and heavy machinery operations. Built on a foundation of precision and trust, the company handles everything from complex residential foundations to large-scale commercial developments using state-of-the-art equipment and elite craftsmanship.

The Challenge

Excavation and site prep lack certainty until the soil is broken. The client faced constant risks ranging from underground utility damage during trenching to inaccurate grading that led to drainage issues. Their previous system relied on manual site surveying which was slow and often led to costly re-works and machinery downtime.

The Solution

We converted their fleet into a 'Smart Network'. By integrating 3D ground mapping and real-time site analysis tools, operators can now visualize underground utilities and terrain layers before they dig. We also built a cloud-synced telemetry system that monitors machinery vibration and thermal data, allowing for maintenance prediction and site-wide progress visualization from any device.
